About the EFL
The European Football League is a *FREE* Play By E-Mail (PBeM) Soccer League, using the ESMS Software, a freeware program, that was developed by Eli Bendersky and Igor Oks, to simulate the games, and is a member of the Esms Online Football Association (EOFA).
Play by E-mail Fantasy football management is similar to football management games on your computer, with one major exception, you're not playing against computer AI, but real life people, from all over the world.
The EFL was founded in 2001 and has a number of seasons under it's belt. The league consists of 2 divisions of 10 teams and contains the strongest and most famous teams in Europe. Player skills and stats are based on the real life players and clubs as far as possible!
Each week you are required to submit a teamsheet containing your instructions on how you wish your side to play that week. You can make substitutions, change formation and switch tactics all depending on the circumstances of the game.
Managers can make player transfers between themselves and other teams in the league. This is primarily done via E-Mail but ICQ and MSN can also be used.
The EFL has its own mailing group, hosted by GoogleGroups When joining the league you will be informed how to mail this list.
Should you wish to join the EFL, please fill in our application form and someone will contact you asap.
